Michael Cotrell, aka Brooklyn Steele-Tate (he/him/his)
Festival Co-chair, Board of Directors

Michael has been involved with Cincinnati Pride for many years (some say too many years) but the experience of the parade and festival keeps him coming back. He started out just emceeing the parade when it was in Northside and helped with the historical transition to Downtown and then to Sawyer Point.
As Cincinnati Pride approaches our 50th year, he wants this to be the party of the century. His hope is that each and every one of the attendees will feel included and appreciated. Cincinnati Pride is not just for the adult attendees who are looking to have a good time and listen to great music, but for the young person who is looking for their spot in the world, the young person who wants to show their parents that they are “normal” and that the world can be a good place. Its also for the more mature LGBT person who has helped paved the way for the community and for those who are just starting out. Pride is for everyone!
