Robert Palmer, Jr. is currently serving as the Director of Development for Cincinnati Pride. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, studied at the University of Cincinnati with a major in Psychology and serve as an HR Leader at MCM CPAs and Advisors, Committee Chair for Ohio SHRM, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Chair for CincySHRM. In his personal time he enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family. This is his first year on the Board after attending several Cincinnati Pride. After attending various Pride throughout the country, he remembers feeling so proud of the community and how it has developed over the years.
Cincinnati Pride represents solidarity, collectivity, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (resistance to discrimination and violence) which is very near and dear to his heart! The joy of seeing people being their authentic self and having inclusive spaces to celebrate is so exciting. This makes him thrilled to be part of the team!
